24-Hour Occlusive Human Patch Test

24-Hour Occlusive Human Patch Test is regularly conducted in Thailand, especially for cosmetics and raw materials sold mainly in Southeast Asia. 

  • We are conducting 24 hours Occlusive Human Patch Test (1 set of 20 volunteers) I in conformity with Japan Cosmetic Industry Association Products 
  • Claims: Dermatologically Tested/ Irritation Tested/ Safety Tested/ Test Under Dermatologist Control

Human Repeat Insult Patch Test (HRIPT)

Human Repeat Insult Patch Test (HRIPT) is a routinely conducts Patch Testing in order to assess the irritation and sensitization attributes of a given product. This helps to support the “Hypoallergenic” for raw materials or cosmetic products that need to be identified “Hypoallergenic Skins”, under certify by a dermatologist.

  • HRIPT is generally a 6-week test conducted on a minimum of 50 volunteers. Products
  • Claims: Dermatologically Tested/ Hypoallergically Tested/ Test Under Dermatologist Control

Cosmetic Effectiveness Tests

Our laboratories, which maintain at a consistent temperature and humidity, are where we perform clinical trials. In order to assess the effectiveness of skin moisturizing, anti-wrinkle and anti-aging, skin color aspects, our laboratories are also fully furnished with a wide range of skin measurement equipment. 

Generally, to conduct the test, roughly 20 volunteers who match the criteria of the intended customer are collected. The tested products will be used by those volunteers for a predetermined amount of time. Depending on what the customer requesting the product testing wants, the duration might be modified.

1. Whitening , Brightening and Depigmentation Effect

We evaluate the efficacy of improving pigmentation caused by long-term use of the product for the monitors who have facial skin discoloration.

  1. Mexameter : Melanin and Erythema Index
  2. Skin-Colorimeter : Measuring values are expressed as coordinates in the color space L*a*b*

To verify the effect of improving skin condition (moisturizing) by measure the volume of skin-moisture in the skin surface (stratum corneum) after a single or long-term application of the product.

  1. Corneometer : Accurately determine the hydration level of the skin surface.

To investigate the influence of the tested sample on the skin elasticity and wrinkles, which are signs of ageing skin, by comparing the application areas and the non-application areas on the same subject.

  1. Cutometer : Calculated related to elastic and viscoelastic properties of skin surface and skin aging.
  2. Visioscan : Unique UVA-light video camera with high resolution to study the skin surface directly.

The SELS® parameters (Surface Evaluation of the Living Skin) have been developed especially for this camera and are used in numerous studies and the calculation of 4 clinical parameters to quantitatively and qualitatively describe the skin surface as an index: Skin smoothness (Sesm), Skin roughness (Ser), Scaliness (Sesc), Wrinkles (Sew).

A clinical experiment designed to evaluate a product’s performance that has been evaluated and claims to have control cutaneous sebum rate is called a sebum control efficacy test.

Home use tests based on a questionnaire survey or long-term continuous use tests, including medical
examinations by dermatologists and other specialties such as dentists, etc.
